Hire Instructions
• Pre-operation checks: Before starting, walk around the machine to check for any visible damage, ensure tyres are properly inflated, check hydraulic fluid and engine oil levels, and test all safety features including the seatbelt and rollover protection system (ROPS)
• Operating the machine: Always enter and exit using three points of contact, keep the seatbar down while operating, use smooth control movements to avoid jerky motions, and never exceed the rated operating capacity (907 kg for the S650)
• Safety requirements: Only operate on stable, level ground where possible, keep bystanders at least 3 metres away during operation, lower the bucket to ground level before exiting, and never leave the machine running unattended
• Daily maintenance: Clean out the cab at the end of each day, grease all fittings as per the manufacturer's schedule, check for hydraulic leaks, and report any unusual noises or performance issues immediately
• Refuelling and care: Use only diesel fuel, refuel with the engine off in a well-ventilated area, avoid overfilling the tank, and keep the machine clean from excessive mud and debris to prevent damage to seals and moving parts
• End of hire: Return the machine with a full tank of diesel, cleaned of excess dirt and materials, with the bucket lowered and all attachments removed (unless hired with the machine), and report any damage or mechanical issues that occurred during the hire period
