Heron Hire connects equipment owners with people who need gear for a job. Whether you're hiring or listing, it's simple and secure.

For Renters

Find what you need

Search by equipment type, category, or location. Browse listings with photos, specs, rates, and reviews from other renters. Our AI assistant can also help you find the right gear for your job.

Request a booking

Select your dates and submit a booking request. The owner reviews your request and approves it — some owners even offer instant booking for returning renters. You can message the owner directly with any questions.

Pay securely

Once approved, pay through Heron Hire's secure Stripe-powered checkout. Your payment is protected and the owner receives their payout after the hire period is complete.

Collect and get the job done

Pick up the equipment or arrange delivery with the owner. Use it for your project, return it when you're done, and leave a review to help the community.

For Owners

List your equipment

Create a listing in minutes. Add photos, set your rates (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), describe the condition, and set your delivery options. Our AI can even write the description for you.

Manage bookings

Receive booking requests, approve or decline them, and manage your availability calendar. Set blocked dates for maintenance or personal use. Communicate with renters through in-platform messaging.

Get paid

Connect your bank account via Stripe. When a renter completes their hire, your payout is processed automatically. Track your earnings, bookings, and reviews from your owner dashboard.
